Oh dear! Last night, what a feeble, wretched, miserable, lamentable apology for a piece of so-called 'flagship broadcasting'.The Royle Family which has had positives in the past, was stretched and dragged into an unfamiliar one hour format and descended into non stop crudity which did not even have the redeeming feature of being amusing. Not one laugh; not one smile in a full programme.
Gavin and Stacey was as thin as ever but you can usually rely on Nessa or Bryn for a tiny moment of comic genius - but these were noticeable only by their absence.
Dr Who fans may I suppose, argue that they were well served
Marks out of ten? - A perhaps over generous TWO. Keep paying the licence fee!
