If a Polish worker has a low wage in the UK and, as a good Catholic has five or six children back in Krakow, we have a disaster scenario for British taxpayers.He is entitled to have his wages made up to British levels by our government based on dependents who do not even live here!
His wages could easily be made up to as much as £30k per year or even MORE!
If you think this is bad, consider how many other E. European nations have kindly supplied us with low wage workers - then start doing the sums.
If surveys are accurate in Turkey, the influx of Turks to the UK should they be allowed to join the EU, will literally run into millions, virtually all of whom are bleeding our taxpayers in precisely the same way. AND let us recall how government estimates of immigration levels in the last 3 years have been wrong by a factor of more than 4,000%!
This insanity cannot continue!
The problem is twofold. The EU rules are massively to blame for creating this situation. The UK government are encouraging this by having no immigration controls and it refuses to stand up to Brussels in any case.
Consequently, it is essential that a number of actions must be taken:
1] There must be an immediate moratorium on all immigration other than that which brings in high level skills.
2] Nobody should be allowed any access to benefits until they have been a taxpayer for a minimum of three years.
3] Anybody who commits any indictable criminal offence or two offences eligible for maximum punishments in Magistrates Courts must be deported.
4] All unemployed should be allowed no more than a single refusal of a job offer - irrespective of wage levels. If you want better - then is up to you to improve the skills you offer.
5] Unemployment benefits in any given year - or even lifetime - must be given a low finite limit. Bill Clinton enjoyed major success with this tactic in several American states.
We can ignore this appalling problem no longer. We are condemning our children to a fragmented and at present rates, a third world type future.
No doubt the liberal left would call this racist. I no longer care. The term is without meaning any more.
The old fashioned left would call me dictatorial for forcing people into work to 'take up the slack'. Well SORRY. It is your union leaders and pet politicians who have allowed this disaster to emerge - silly ideals in place of pragmatic action.
