Summat for nowt.

If you have not worked to get it - you do not understand. If you have not waited in eager anticipation - you do not appreciate and if you have not fought to achieve - you do not value.
How many of the children I teach each week have learned these lessons? - I do not know with precision but can tell you that it will be very few.

I am speaking here of materialistic things but if they cannot see those matters with clarity, then how can they possibly hope to deal with the nobler concepts?
Children have now long been growing into adults neither recognising , nor understanding, nor appreciating nor valuing the liberties, freedoms, history, traditions and culture which they have inherited. At least two full generations have sat back, taken their ease and permitted our institutions to be endangered by an insidious enemy from within. [Satan was ever arrayed as an angel of light!]
And so when rapacious, quisling, soulless, gutless, uncomprehending politicians determine to cheat us of our national heritage, they do so with pride in their own cleverness and treachery.
They are given free rein by these 'lost generations' who have surrendered to the twin goals of personal advancement and apathy.
They say that 'a nation gets the politicians it deserves' - oh dear. I fear it may well be true.

A really horrible thought!
