Old people do not matter.

Almost 400,000 elderly people will lose their state-funded help to live at home despite ministers' promises to improve services, town halls warned yesterday.
Health Secretary Alan Johnson and five other Cabinet ministers are backing a plan to overhaul home assistance for the frail and vulnerable.
But the Local Government Association said that the amount of money allocated to the project was 'negligible', meaning cutbacks currently under way will intensify over the next two years.
Labour's so-called Putting People First scheme removes social workers' powers to provide elderly people with whatever help washing, dressing and carrying out other domestic tasks they see fit
.

I utterly despise a Labour Party which easily finds money for: quangos, the EU, wars, illegal immigrants, the idle, the workshy, the criminal, the undeserving, the irresponsible, bureaucrats, PC schemes, wild projects and yet it treats old people with utter disregard.

Shame on you! You betray everything your original founders believed in.
