Following an unsurprising surge of public support for grammar schools, minister Jim Knight has backed away from his controversial plans to make balloting easier for closing such institutions,
Readers of this Blog may be surprised to know that I would have fully supported that move as it clearly represents a democratic step forwards.
Obviously, Mr Knight would have wanted to be evenhanded - and even though he hadn't actually said so - I am certain that he would have proffered similar balloting arrangements to parents in comprehensives at the same time.
Well, wouldn't he?
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
